BTI was founded in 1988, as a small van operation. Since then we have grown to over 120 trucks, of which 85 are company owned, newer model Peterbilts like the one pictured on our home page. Our van division operates exclusively in the Midwest, East, and Southeastern parts of the country and consists of 53"x102" air ride trailers. The flatbed division operates in all 48 states and consists totally of air ride equipment. Our entire flatbed fleet is equipped to properly secure and protect your valuable shipments. Our management team has been together over 15 years. Our Operations Manager, Safety Director, and Marketing Manager all have numerous years of operations experience. Our Vice-President, Safety Director, and Maintenance Director have all served as Officers in the Iowa Motor Truck Association (IMTA). Both our company and independent contractor fleets have all been carefully screened for their safety record and previous employment. Our Safety Director and Operations Manager review each applicant to make sure they meet BTI's high standards. BTI is proud of our distinction of being awarded the Overall Safety Award from the IMTA in 1997. In today's market place, service is the most important aspect of both our businesses. Most quality shippers feel that their carriers are one of the most important aspects of their marketing network.
